ABOUT US
Matty's Patty's Burger Club was founded by Matty Matheson and Pat Tenore in 2018 at RVCAloha, where they handed out burgers at a local event — and ended up sparking a global burger movement. From there, pop-ups quickly followed on Oahu's North Shore, in Shibuya, and in Toronto, spreading the flavour, fun, and energy of Matty's Patty's around the world.
In October 2020, Matty opened the first permanent location in Toronto, the city that shaped his career. By December 2024, the club had landed in Costa Mesa, joining Pat Tenore's community. A third location followed in Hamilton, inside the historic TD Coliseum.
Matty's Patty's isn't just a burger joint. It's a club and a movement built on bold flavours and good vibes. Crispy smash burgers, thick juicy pattys, legendary chili cheese fries, and creamy shakes — served with AAA beef and signature fries.
Matty's Patty's is backed by Matty Matheson's restaurant group, Our House Hospitality Company, and co-founded with the vision of Pat Tenore.
MATTY MATHESON
Internationally recognized personality Matty Matheson has been breaking barriers since his cooking debut. His expansive career has brought many opportunities to the chef, restaurateur,
best-selling author, award winning executive producer, actor and television personality.
Matty's presence in culture has grown exponentially as he continues to bring his unique personality beyond the restaurant world in a variety of ways and creative entrepreneurial ventures. Matty currently lives in Fort Erie Ontario with his wife and 3 children.
PAT TENORE
Meet Pat Tenore—the "Patty" in Matty’s Patty’s Burger Club. Born in Chicago, Pat moved to the Bay Area with his mom at just 2 years old. By age 10, they had settled in Orange County, where Pat’s journey truly began.
Pat’s creative journey began in Costa Mesa, where he created RVCA in his garage, transforming it into a globally recognized brand and community platform. He is also the co-creator and Founder of Art of Jiu-Jitsu alongside the Mendes Bros and the founder of a newly launched clothing line, Tenōre. Throughout his career, Pat’s passion for collaboration and community has been a constant thread, inspiring him to give back to the people and places that shaped him.
